Healthy Vixens

We've said it a thousand times, " This year I'll get healthy, This year I'll lose a few pounds, This year I'll feel better". But we didn't, and we're here.

The point of Healthy Vixens is not to lose weight so you can make other's accept you or conform to society's standards.

The point of Healhty Vixens is to lose a few pounds in order to lead a more healthier life-style!

We all want to feel great, no matter who you are. Let's be honest here, sometimes being a little overweight can start to feel uncomfortable. Let's aim to feel better in all aspects of our lives this year. 

I am not saying, "Let's all go on a diet!". I am saying, "Let's make a life-style change". 

Here is one way you could do it:

Do whatever you normally do, just be sure to incorporate 5 different vegetables to your menu each day, and a few different fruits. 

Watch your calories! Let's try and stay under the 1500 calorie a day limit and go from there.

Exercise. That word scares a lot of us. ( Including Me). It doesn't have to be that way. 

Here are a few simple exercises to do to help you through out your day:
  • Take the stairs whenever available!
  • Don't leave the dog walking to your significant other or child, Spend some time with Sparky. (: WOOOFFF.
  • Carry a 5lb weight in each hand while doing the simplest of tasks such as computer surfing or watching TV. 
  • Carry a walker so you know how many steps you've taken. Aim for 3 miles each day. (:
